You ever hear something that really disturbed you to the core of who you are? This happened to me today. I don't believe in "tap dancing", "soft-shoeing", or trying to be sensitive to someone who's just waiting to pounce on anything you say that they don't agree with. I choose God's truth over everything else! Now, this is was one of the headlines online from the state of New Jersey's heartless Governor, Phil "Murder" Murphy.... 

New Jersey Passes Freedom of Reproductive Choice Act as Future of Abortion Remains Uncertain BY AILA SLISCO ON 1/10/22 AT 6:30 PM EST

This is a paragraph directrly from the article: The bill guarantees "the fundamental right of reproductive autonomy" and allows "qualified health care professionals," including some non-physicians, to perform abortions.

If that isn't disturbing enough, how about this statement from the article:

"This is a great first step and we should celebrate the passage of this legislation," NOW-NJ President Anjali Mehrotra said in a statement. 

"We need to pass more protections for New Jersey's vulnerable and marginalized populations, such as removing cost barriers for abortion, ensuring medical abortion remains accessible, and allowing access to hormonal contraception without a prescription from a doctor," Mehrotra added.

I didn't want to paraphrase what these empty, lost people being used to push forward the devils agenda to harden the hearts and blind the minds of those he's using to celebrate "MURDERING INNOCENT BABIES IN THE WOMB"! 

The title of this blog says it all about the state of this country and world being where it is because "The Church", more specifically, those who call themselves Christians haven't, let me be more direct, don't know how to pray effectively against the demonic spiritual attacks that the devil relentlessly keeps bringing! 

When are we going to be faithful to 2 Chronicles 7:14-
If My people who are called by My name will humble themselves, and pray and seek My face, and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin and heal their land."

Jeremiah 1:5 (God's Word Translation) says: "Before I formed you in the womb, I knew you. Before you were born, I set you apart for my holy purpose. I appointed you to be a prophet to the nations."

EVERY LIFE IS PURPOSED BY GOD! If you"'re a "Christian By Name Only", this won't matter to you at all! But, if you are reading this and you care about what Jesus died for, an came to this Earth...LIFE, then you need to "Take up His Cross" in this area and...PRAY!!

I was recently at a great parenting conference with a couple of very well known and respected people in the world of youth/teen speakers and presenters. I must admit that I haven’t always been a “data/stats driven” guy, but I really do see the importance of these “facts” now as they apply to this rapidly changing world that we live in. Meeke Addison was sharing some very interesting data (https://www.barna.com/) that she’d come across in preparing to speak to the group. The slide was titled: “Important to Self”. Following are how 5 areas ranked amongst those who were polled:

1. Personal Achievement

2. Hobbies/Pastimes

3. Gender and Sexuality

4. Friends

5. Family

These certainly are important areas to us all. However, the survey was polling “Gen Z’ers”. The survey sited that this is the first generation of teens where “Family” (#5) didn’t rank as #1 or #2! Take a moment and let that statement “sink in”! I don’t think that we can fully feel the weight of this statement if we don’t have Gen “Z’s” in our homes, have grandkids in the category, or have some kind of consistent, close, loving relationship with this group. Also mentioned was the fact that 50% of Gen “Z” teens look up to their parents as role models! Could it be that what’s being “modeled” at home is reflected in this survey? I believe it has a great deal to do with it!

There’s more that I may say about this in future blog posts, but I want to leave you with a few thoughts for you to consider, share, and most importantly “self-assess”! Make no mistake about it, in the words of Meeke Addison, this is a fight to “REPOSITION THE FAMILY”! It may have started out subtly, but it’s “In your face” time now with the assault/onslaught on traditional, biblical-values that many of you reading this hold so “near and dear” to your hearts! We as adults MUST DO A BETTER JOB at praying, protecting, presenting and being the “role models” that our teens (and younger ones) are looking for and desperately need to see in their homes, “IF’ we are to see them put “The Family” back in its’ rightful place…..#1! It’s “WithNU” to do it!!!
